How to Apply DIY Cluster Lashes with Bond & Seal

What You'll Need

Step 1 - Prepare Your Natural Lashes

Start with clean, dry lashes that are completely free from mascara, oils, makeup and other products.

For the best results, avoid applying moisturiser or oily eye products around your lashes before application, as oils can affect how well the bond adheres.

Step 2 - Apply the Bond

Using the Bond applicator, apply a thin layer of Bond to your natural lashes.

Focus the Bond mainly towards the base of your lashes where the lash clusters will be placed roughly 1mm away from the lash line.

Tip: Less is more. Applying too much Bond can make the application messy and can cause the clusters to stick together.

Step 3 - Apply Your Lash Clusters

Using your lash tweezers, carefully pick up one DIY lash cluster at a time from the root of the cluster to avoid breakage.

Place each cluster underneath your natural lashes, close to the lash line, without placing it directly onto your waterline, hold the tweezer vertical for ease.

Gently press the cluster into position before moving on to the next one.

Lash Mapping Tip

Start with shorter clusters towards the inner corner and gradually increase the length towards the outer corner for a soft, lifted look.

Step 4 - Press & Secure

Once all your cluster lashes are in place, gently squeeze the natural lashes and lash clusters together using your tweezers but coat the tweezer in a layer of seal first.

This helps the clusters bond securely with your natural lashes and creates a seamless finish.

Step 5 - Apply the Seal

Once you're happy with your lash placement, apply a small amount of Seal to the bonded area.

The Seal helps to reduce stickiness and helps finish the application, leaving your DIY cluster lashes feeling more comfortable.

Allow the Bond & Seal to set according to the product instructions.

Step 1 - Prepare Your Natural Lashes

Start with completely clean and dry lashes.

Remove all mascara, makeup, oils and skincare residue from around your eyes. Allow your lashes to dry completely before application.

Tip: Avoid applying oily products around your eyes immediately before applying your pre-glued lashes, as oils can affect adhesion.

Step 2 - Choose Your Lash Map

Before applying, decide where you want each cluster to sit.

For a soft, natural look, use shorter clusters towards the inner corner and gradually increase the length towards the outer corner.

For a fuller, more dramatic look, you can build your desired shape using additional clusters.

Step 3 - Pick Up Your Lash Cluster

Using the JA LASHES AND CO tweezers, carefully pick up one pre-glued lash cluster.

Try to handle the cluster gently and avoid touching the adhesive area unnecessarily.

Step 4 - Position the Cluster

Carefully place the pre-glued lash cluster underneath your natural lashes, 1mm above your lash line.

Avoid placing the cluster directly onto your waterline or onto the skin of your eyelid.
